Who has been better than Ramsey then?

Are you kidding me?!

I don't know who Arsenal's best player has been and I don't care who is. What I found funny was what he said, not the idea that Ozil and Ramsey have been doing very well. If I said "Mars bars are my favourite chocolate by a long way" and then "Mind you I like Milky Bars almost as much" in the nest sentence then I've said something stupid, the subject is irrelevent.

Did you not recently receive a favourable decision against Chelsea?

It was a marginal call. Many pundits, journalists and ex-referees have said they thought it looked like a second booking at the time. The Chelsea decision yesterday wasn't a marginal call, if the linesman genuinly believed that Marshall dropped the ball by accident then he's had a 'mare and if they're just lying to save face then the ref and linesman are guilty of not applying the rules to a blatant foul.

Anyway, change the record. I'm sure you'll disagree and continue to maintain that Torres' sending off is the worst decision of the century but it was one decision. Norwich were denied what looked like a clear penalty in your last game, Villa had 2 big decisions go the wrong way when they played you and now you've had the benefit of a very bad decision again. I don't really care but it's obvious why VH made that comment.

Which is a foul. Law 12 explicitly states that it's a foul, as the keeper's considered to be in possession of the ball when bouncing it on the ground.

That's the dumbest rule I've ever heard. Keepers have no real need to bounce the ball, it should be ok to punish them for doing something so unnecessary.

I don't see a lot wrong with the comments, we all know what he actually meant.

Disagree, the whole idea of it just seems to flag up any decision that goes for Chelsea/Arsenal and ignore the calls against them. I haven't seen any football this weekend so it's unfair for me to comment on yesterday's games but as much as decisions have gone for us they've undoubtedly gone against us. We had two legit penalty calls get turned down long before Norwich's. We had a clear penalty not given against Hull, Terry was pushed before the handball incident so it was never a foul (Villa).

Premier League referees tend to favour home teams, in particular the bigger ones (there's no doubt about that) but there's no doubt Chelsea have also been on the receiving end of farcical refereeing.

Of course you do.

Its forum logic or stubbornness or whatever way you view it, i wouldn't even bother to try and explain yourself! as in "real life" if we was down the pub and that arsenal fan said the same comment, he would get ripped to pieces (in a banter way)......online everyone has to try and score points or be difficult even if they know you was having a laugh!

I hope they get their arses bitten.

With Chelsea playing City and Arsenal playing Palace you'd expect odds to change somewhat. Arsenal could even shorten to 4/1 if Chelsea and City draw. There's no real value on anyone bar Arsenal at the moment.

'Pool at 8/1.
<doh>

That's because every red Mouser on Merseyside and all the plastic Mousers around the world puts his shirt on 'Pool winning the title every year. And there's a bloke called "Magic" on another thread on this board trying to convince us that Mousers are realistic about their chances!

That's what is being reported, but I must say that I would find it surprising if any Gooner actually gave a toss about it. As far as I can see, Walnut is going to have as tough a time getting himself back in the Arsenal first XI as he is England's.

Have Arsenal played any top teams apart from us.....?

Nope... 7 of our 8 games against bottom half clubs. Though we have dismantled Marseille and Napoli who I reckon would be top half teams.

Anyway, sterner tests to come soon with Liverpool and United and Chelsea not too long away.

Its bad that i'd quite like Arsenal to win all of those isn't it?

Not sure winning 2-1 counts as dismantling a team but hey.

I hadn't realised you'd played against quite so many bottom half teams. Similar to us, I'm sure they won't all be in the bottom half at the end of the season though. Liverpool have probably had the easiest start though. One big game against a top side but even they're in chaos.
