Questions to consider: Who is Bob? What is the name of Bob's dog? How did Bob's dog get hot? (Should be comically easy to identify this former children's entertainment duo)

When I was at school, Maths, English & Technical Drawing were my best subjects (Top of the class every single term). please log in to view this image Having seen all the rules/guidelines for setting/solving cryptic clues I know that, had I shown an interest in these earlier, I would stand a better chance but would still be very restricted by my poor general knowledge; hence not much incentive to spend much time on it at my stage in life.
English and Maths for me (or rather Arithmetic and manipulation of numbers rather than things like Algebra). I use Sudoku to wake up my brain in the mornings, doing it at night would take me forever!
