I will go for the departure of JW for now as while he was there it seemed as if some sanity existed in the madhouse. However I may change my mind depending on Thursday and Friday.:(

Club's being turned upside down, too much change at once can only be bad for WFC

JW for me too. I'm worried this is going to be followed by someone we all treasure, but I really hope I'm wrong.

I would go for JW leaving, but I fear that Pinocchio has more damage to wreck before the week is out...

Yes I agree, player sales were always going to happen, but when the CEO goes it leaves huge question marks hanging over what remains.

I had thought of Baz the clown as a sort of nodding dog, quite harmless in many ways but ultimately just a toy. My opinion has now changed as he clearly isn't humourous.

Julian Winter's role IMO as the most senior (non playing) employee at the club was to head up the whole operation on a day to day basis. He was the one responsible for implementing the owners (LA) wishes and his CV showed he was experienced at this. For him to have left this soon after "the takeover" indicates that the plan wasn't working.

OK smart A rse clown, I bought my Season Tickets, are you going to go public and actually tell us what the hell you are doing and what is coming next?

    Poor Malky.

He toodles off on a well-deserved summer holiday and returns to an utter clusterf**k.

You wouldn't blame him for taking a look in the door at The Vic and then walking back out again.

I have been thinking about who could be behind Pinocchio and come to the conclusion it is not the Lettuce Boys - no way they would keep their faces out of The Vic..

Voted for third as the poll says "this week" - I would be just as happy if Baz went NEXT week :)

Winter leaving - although the fact that Laurence "Bankrupt" Bassini is still involved is worrying.

    I guess mine would be either not enough monet for DG, or JW going.... but;

DG was expected to go. We all thought he was wotth more, but the fact that WBA and QPR didn't match Swansea's bid, maybe they didn't!

Do we know the reason Winter actually left? The likelihood is it is somethig to do with Bas and he'll have his own person in soon enough... but maybe it was entirely Winter's decision. Maybe he got a better offer somewhere else?

I am not that much of a happy clapper, but are we all not putting 1+2+3 together and making doom?

    Analyse the 3 events separately:

1 Buckley to Brighton. A very good deal IMO, net £600+k profit after less than 12 months, a player who dazzled for a brief period, but was at other times at best underwhelming, and who was obviously not the first on MM's teamsheet each week.

2 DG to Swansea - Danny was always going to go to a Prem club; the £3.5m was signalled to every other club and nobody came in to match it although the opportunity was there. Maybe that is DG's perceived value - we are looking at him with yellow tinted spex. Put it this way - I can't see us making much on a future sell-on.

3 JW leaving. It has been predicted well before now, and no one really knows why he's gone. The fact that yesterday's announcement says that 'JW will always be a most welcome guest at VR' does not suggest acrimony.

I stay in the wait and see camp. Bazini's statement today at least indicates that we'll be going into the transfer market sooner rather than later. For the above reasons, I am abstaining from the vote!

That statement only seems to lead us to assume that JW left out of choice...and rather swiftly. That seems worrying to me, but i take your other points Harrow. Though to me, losing JW is huge...
