Their defence of; Clyne - Lovren - Fonte - Shaw Is very, very good. Especially when you've got Wanyama and Schneiderlin protecting them.
Sergio Aguero’s second goal was his first headed goal in the Premier League (from 41 goals) Manchester City are the first team to score 20+ goals in the Premier League this season
The last time Sunderland kept a clean sheet was Paolo Di Canio’s second and final win as manager (1-0 v Everton) Swansea ended a run of 56 games without a Premier League penalty, stretching back to March 2012 against Manchester City Sunderland have conceded 18 goals in their last six Premier League games
Tough one. Not malicious intent and clearly a mistake. His foot rolls over the ball and onto Aluko's shin. A yellow was right IMO but it was nasty to look at.
Yannick Sagbo’s goal was his first for Hull City & the earliest scored by a substitute in the Premier League this season (30 minutes) No side has currently gone longer without losing at home in the Barclays Premier League than Everton (13 games – W10 D3)
Does he not hit the ball first? His foot rolls over the top of the ball and onto Aluko's shin. Sorry mate. But thats not a red. He's unlucky enough to hit Aluko's shin but he'd have been desperately unlucky to be sent off. One footed tackle and he clearly gets the ball first. The only thing I can think of that he did wrong was 'excessive force' which is a ridiculous rule.
A ****ing dirty bastard. Knee high and studs up on Graham, studs up over the ball on Aluko. Plus he was offside when he got a touch on the ball for their first.
All in all he should still have been sent off. The first is a yellow as long as grass is green. The second is a yellow too. In fact, I think the first is a worse tackle.
