Nani will want to spend some of his peak in another league. Isn't it obvious anyway? The guys whole attitude wreaks of "me me me" In any case, wasn't it you who posted an interview months ago where Nani said something like: "Sir Alex makes me play a certain way for the team, He tells me not play with skills etc... I don't particurlary like having to though" Which led you to say "Nani's leaving for a team that will appreciate him properly"? He's probably holding out for a move to Real or Barca. Barca wouldn't touch him, but Real or Inter might. I actually wouldn't be that surprised if he left this summer. You can talk about replacing his goals and assist etc... But Nani leaving wont suddenly make us score 20 goals less next season. others would replace him and his goals. We've replaced far better.
Its not that simple, we are losing a lot of skill, not just Nani individually!!! The squad as a whole since 09 is getting worse and worse and worse. There is so much papering of the cracks you can do. We lost Tevez and Ronaldo and we lost a HUGE amount of wow factor and skill and match winners. We now have lost Scholes and Giggs is getting older and can no longer play on the wing, if we lose Berbs and Nani to the squad will need some big replacements. We already need replacements in the midfield and losing Nani will demand a winger better than Young. As for Nani- he has said himself he will stay. 2 weeks ago he said: “Of course I wanted to play in the final because every player wants to play in the final,” he added. “But you have to respect the decision of the manager. He knows why he did what he did. Of course I want to stay at United, we have a lot of work to do next season. “It is difficult because we have ambition to play every game, to be in the first 11 in a fi nal. But it’s not the players who make the decision, it’s the manager and you have to respect that. “We had a meeting and then he explained to the players. He met us individually and everyone understood.” After the Final he said Nani also reflected on what had mostly be a triumphant season both personally and collectively but predicted even greater times ahead as the younger United players become more battle-hardened. “It was a very good season personally,” he said. “What can I say? I promise more work next season and try to do much better. “Of course, this Manchester United team can get better. We are a fantastic team. Most of the players will start to grow up, understand more and gain more experience and then will be much better in the next years.” I think he is being forced to leave tbh
If you believe that Nani is the answer to our problems you're the one that's talking crap. I'd welcome him leaving and a better replacement signing up. Don't think that's Young, though.
Losing Nani will be a massive loss and I hope we don't sign him, there is not many viable alternatives to Nani out there. Young is not the answer and all the other options are out of our price range.
He does not know, he just has a anti Nani agenda. Simple as Similar stats not players with 5 goals 8 assists I am talking about 30 ish contributions a season. I am talking about viable in the transfer market and less than 30m, without top teams interested.
You can change it on the settings page: http://www.not606.com/profile.php?do=editoptions It's about halfway down. The maximum has been changed to 40, and the default now seems to be 25. Like Four says, I assume it's to speed up loading and reduce the burden on the servers.
Who do you suggest then expert? Let me guess he's got a foreign name? Young not exotic enough for you? Of course he is good enough you idiot.
This Young has proven h hs what it takes t hack the prem. he's a team player, good technique, head always up, crossing the ball. He will be surrounded by better, more consitant players. He will also become even more regular in the National squad through joining us - which can only aid him. People say he's "unproven, average" etc.. He's proven himself in the Prem for a while now... And how else is he supposed to prove himself at Villa? When were Villa last in the CL? Surely that's why we're looking at him?
Exactly. I think with him playing in the Premier League, Ferguson has seen plenty of him to suggest he can make it at United. The thing with Ferguson is, he looks at a players life style, his family life etc to see if he will be able to cope with playing for United. He knows what he is doing I think. Sometimes he gets it wrong but more often than not that is from players abroad. He usually gets signings in this country spot on.
