I know I'm jumping the gun a little, here, since neither is going to be there at the business end of the season, but I was wondering which of these two very great evils you would each prefer? For me, it presents, quite possibly, the most painful choice in football. On the one hand, I cannot bear for Arsenal to win anything, and I celebrate every time they lose. On the other hand, whilst I have nothing per se against 'Pool as a club, I really do not believe that I could bear the next 20 years of Mouser arrogance and heightened delusion as they all celebrate a lucky and one-off title win (because, let's face it, they don't deserve to even be in the top 4). I really am torn on this one. On balance, I'd probably go with Arsenal (Mouser delusion being something far too much for me to bear as it is), but only on the premise that this would give the Spurs board a greater incentive to push on, and insure that we complete the long awaited North London Power-Shift without any further delay. (Please, no wum postings.)
lpool don't deserve to be top4? 18 titles and 5 euro cups says we "deserve" it more than the lowly spurs. 3 seasons challenging for top4 and all of a sudden you deserve something lmao (a slap to wake you up perhaps) monkey boy has gone, 100m later and back down to mediocrity you go. that's why you made this thread isn't it? to highlight your demise from 5th to 7th
K&R's comment just sums up what's wrong with a lot of Liverpool fans, for me. Good in the past, so they don't have to do anything now to earn rewards? No thanks. I'd still rather they won the league than Arsenal though, of course. Can't see either happening, though.
k&r (and the millions of Mousers like him) is the reason why 'Pool must never win the league again. It is for that reason that - as much as it pains me to be forced to make the choice - I would rather Gunners win the title than 'Pool. However, and as I clearly stated in my OP, I don't expect either to be in with a shout, come the business end of the season.
the past? last 5 years..... trophies...... Liverpool - 1 spuds - 1 if you want to go into the past it just gets more embarrassing for you tbh, but you do sum up most spurs fans these days.... think they are a big club cos they sold the world's most expensive diving monkey and nearly qualified for the Cl a few times, oh the pride is unbelievable.
However much it would pain me to listen to 20 years of mouser gloats anything is better than seeing the goons break their duck at the Emirates. I'd take the mousers winning 5 on the trot rather than the goons winning one.
and therein lies the difference in clubs. your best wish for a season is that anyone but your rivals win the league.... pathetic... you are the everton of north London and don't forget it chaps.
oh please..... your not even trying now? most spurs fans aren't as stupid as you so I don't speak to all of them when I say...even if we win nothing for the next 50yrs you will still be a fraction of the club we are. you just don't compare. in. any. way. can't wait for your next hilarious reply.
We don't tolerate personal abuse on this board, and many have been banned for engaging in it. Please, respect your fellow posters whilst visiting this board. If you want to engage in personal abuse, you can always post on the Mouser board. 'Pool has been a mediocre club for many seasons, nothing like the club of the 70s, when it was at the height of its Glory Days. The world has changed greatly since those days. For example, the Government has tightened the social welfare laws to make it harder for scroungers to milk the State (such as the Boswell Family, who were exposed by that documentary-maker, Carla Lane).
Arsenal, obviously, but unlike the majority on here, I don't draw conclusions about the end of the season after 8 games. Captain Cook didn't worry about circumnavigating Terra Australis when he'd reached the English Channel, did he?
you are a complete and utter embarrassment to spurs fans and professional wums across the world....tut tut tut. I would call you a sad **** but that would be stating the obvious and as you so homosexually said, would result in a ban for me ...... oops. mark duggan was innocent btw.
During our mediocrity we've been Champions of Europe, during Spurs many more years of mediocrity they managed to get relegated.
