It's one thing showing all the "exclusive" QPRPlayer content on London Call In every thursday, another fobbing subscribers off with 94.9 by way of commentary every matchday. I'm sure i heard more about Brentford and Lleyton Orient today than i did QPR. Not only that, it's free for anyone with an internet connection to listen to anyway. Today i PAID to hear Watford equalise V Derby (what a mug). The constant cutting away from the game means pitiful value for money, and a swift unsubscribe will follow unless they provide a dedicated uninterrupted QPR commentary sharpish.
It's a shame because it's a missed opportunity by the club to provide a decent product for the fans, and make some cash on the side. Think i'll take your advice after the next few away games!
Please remind me of this the next time a "comms and media" meeting comes around and I'll bring it up.
It is a rip off....you can get everything on the youtube channel or u stream. I tried to cancel my subscribtion before the 40 quid was taken and was told i couldn't because i had to give a months notice. So stuck with it for another year.
