....and after all that, it turns out to be Brown and O'Shea.

He would be an improvement to the squad which I am not sure the likes of Wes Brown or N`Gog would enhance.

If we are going for Wes Brown, we may as well have kept John Mensah, because he also gets a lot of injuries.

If you read what the manure fans say about Wes Brown, they are chuffed to bits to get rid of him. Some say he hasn't performed well since the 2008/9 season. O'Shea is a different prospect and many have expressed surprise that he could be coming to us, prefering to keep him at Old Trafford.

God, there's some moaning sods on here who always look to be negative: probably the same people who walk out of the stadium if we go two goals behind!

seems to me a lot of that positivity for o'shea is that he provides cover in a number of positions. we don't want or need a utility man who is "capable" at filling in all over the place, we need quality signings.

i can accept losing henderson, especially for that fee and as it looks like we are bringing larsson in (better footballer, no, will he actually offer us more though? perversely yes imo, goals and crosses stats far outweigh hendo's), but come on, n'gog?? he's ****ing rubbish, same goes for brown and o'shea in my opinion.
