Both managed by our former number 2's. Although I hope Poyet stays for a long time as that accent of his is horrific to listen to. BBC like employing annoying pundits and I have to mute it when him or Jason Roberts are on MOTD2!

My favourite is "Ramsey is the best Arsenal player by far this season. Ozil not too far behind! Phenomenal form." <doh>

    Ah, bless!

Don't worry, though, when the wheel's fall off the Gunners' bandwagon over the next few weeks (when they come up against some half-decent sides), the Gooners will all be turning on Whinger, the players, and one another.

Also, next season, when all the teams have worked out how to play Ozil, he'll go from hero to zero with the Gooners faster than an RVP exit.

    Chelsea receive favourable decision shock!

But it's worse than this as all the pundits then fall over themselves to explain how brilliant the chosen one is. Like last time out when somehow it's his clever planning that allowed some comical Norwich defending followed by terrible goalkeeping for the Chelski equaliser. Really wondering what the point is trying to compete against such a team. All he has to do is draw with the top teams knowing he'll get the balance of decisions against lower teams.

I love that you don't consider Spurs a half-decent side.

  8. BBC Live is reporting that Moyes "thunders away down the tunnel" after dropping points against Saints, but did he really expect to do any better with United than he did with Everton? Certainly, he would have expected to have finished top 4 in his first season, but nothing more than that? No one else did - well, except for the millions of plastic United supporters who believe that it's United's god-given right to win everything every year, regardless of who is in charge.

The simple and inescapable truth of the matter is, that without Fergie United are a very ordinary side, certainly not better than Everton.

Why, even Rafael throwing himself down in the opposition's penalty area in extra time wasn't rewarded with the usual penalty. If ever any one of you needed convincing that United's Glory Days are over, you only have to ponder on the fact that they no longer have the ref as their 12th player.

  10. We had players bedding-in. We still do.

Gunners, on the other hand, have practically the same side they had last season and merely making hay while the sun is shining on them. A couple of injuries and a dip in form, and the wheels will come off the Arsenal wagon.

Start crowing if you're still top on 1 January.

I'll highlight the bits I was face palming if you're finding it difficult:

"Ramsey is the best Arsenal player by far this season. Ozil not too far behind! Phenomenal form."

If you're still struggling consult your parents :D

  12. Go easy, YV! I understand that the age of the average Gooner poster on this site is 14.

Fair play to Arsenal, that Wilshere goal was classy.

Now, now don't get upset. What he said was funny because he managed to contradict himself and to be honest I'm still not sure what he means, is Ramsey by far your best player this season or is Ozil not far behind?

Go downstairs and ask a parent or guardian <ok>

  19. How on earth did we manage to lose to West Ham? They are truly awful.

This is what an Arsenal fan said earlier when talking about whether they'd be happy if RVP was to come back -
