We had more %age posession, more shots and more shots on target; how can you not be sure we deserved something?

Really pleased, but you know what..? This team is getting to be so good that there is a tiny, tiny part of me which wishes we could have beaten them with one of our late shots on goal.

I'll certainly take the 1-1 though.

Haha, well done, genuinely happy that you scored. Look forward to seeing Moyes' reaction on MOTD

Fantastic performance all round (bar a bad day at the office for Dani). Yes, my Saints love is definitely brimming over for Mr Lovren today - he was again outstanding.

A fully deserved point. And we're a fully decent team.

I'm surprised. You're a little late to the converts party, Fran..?

I particularly like how Man Utd are traditionally the team of finishing strongly and scoring late goals. The tides are turning...

How many really good chances did we create? I count one. After they scored, we didn't put that enough pressure on their defence and it was only towards the end that we picked things up again. It was a great defensive performance from the team today but not a great attacking one. That's hardly a stinging criticism by the way, United are still one of the best sides in the world after all, they're always going to be difficult to break down.

Thanks. I see Pompey won today as well. Cherries did well against Forest 1-1, as well. So South Coast football is having a good weekend.

Yeah, though he probably won't; as an EU citizen he has pretty much all the same rights we do, so no real incentive to naturalise.

So to answer oldstocktonsaint's question, no, he is not officially English or British and he certainly isn't eligible to play for England (nor would he be even if the education rule wasn't in place, as he has played competitive matches for the French under-21 side).

In the cold light of where we want to be, we dropped points.

However...,they could have turned us over 4-0 at one point!

Happy, but when you are used to being at the top, a little reserved at the result.
Now I know what those Arse supporters felt when they beat us at Cardiff!!!
