Another fine, positive performance from us, insightfuil substitutions from the manager together with great tactical awareness...........oh wait a minute, I just watched last years game. Seriously though, Moyes is great isn't he, he really brings the best out of last years PL winning squad.
DM is totally out of his depth, Rooney and Fellaini were having stinkers and though he took Fellaini off he kept Rooney on till the 87th minute when he was contributing nothing except passing the ball to a Southampton player every single time he got it, Kagawa should have been brought on for Rooney on the hour to gain a bit more control as Southampton were the more dominant team and try to get the second goal but instead he took his time and as soon as he made a negative defensive substitution Southampton scored a deserved equalizer. I am beginning to believe that he got this job because he was the supposed best of a mediocre list of british managers and SAF might have made a massive error in recommending him. He totally lacked the courage to take Rooney off and cost utd the game in the process
