Young imho is not good enough and is average at best. If Nani leaves we should be looking at a top winger not a average player who has only 15 caps for england
It shows that if he is not even good enough to play for England and can't start ahead of Walcott then there is something seriously wrong with his talents. Would any top team like Barca or Real or even AC and Inter even show interest in Young? NO. They want better talents like Sanchez who is younger and is class. Young is soon to be 26 and won't progress that much and as he relies on pace he won't be as good in 2 years.
better than the jackson double. great first half of the season, terrible the second half. football is a simple game made very complicated by players like nani. most of the time his team mates dont even know what hes going to do.
The Nani deal could depend a lot on whether we get Alexis Sanchez. On manutd.com it says the club reckon Barca haven't made a definite bid, or at least not one that has been accepted, and all the Barca chat is just Udinese trying to make sure we offer them the full £30 million. Haven't seen much of Sanchez, but do we reckon he would be a good replacement for Nani? Can play on both wings and also CAM so he could be a good solution all round.
fergie has been keen on him for years apparently. hes added goals to his game this season, quite a few in fact..12..but i dunno if that's a result of being played upfront instead of on the wing. i found nani incredibly frustrating in the 2nd half of the season. he reverted to the old nani. selfish, running into blind alleys and trying to do everything himself. sanchez is a hell of a player, but he is predominantly right footed. so it would be a case of cutting in ala nani if he were to replace him, unless he's rotated with valencia.
Terrible 2nd half? What from January? You talk a lot of crap. He started to lose form at the end of February and his form dipped against Chelsea in March. That is not half of a season. Stop exaggerating and Young is not exactly consistent and has many dips in form. If we sign him the gap between us and Barca went from large to astronomical.
How can we compete with Inter, Chelsea and Barca and even City for Sanchez? they will bring an offer to near 40m and Udin have said they will only except a irresistible offer and we don't have the financial pulling powers like those teams.

i think young can become even better at united.he can play in several different positions,he does track back,is brilliant at freekicks and corners,can score goals and create.
I hope we keep Nani even if Young joins. I hope he is just signing because Giggs can no longer play on the wing.
I actually agree with you for once Nolhman... Sanchez wouldn't be an improvement on Nani in my opinion. he's an even more frustrating version (as if that was possible) of Nani. He's one of those annoying players who will always take an extra touch before passing - and by the time he does pass it's a poor pass. He has a few moments of indivual brilliance but not enough of them to warrant this "superstar" tag. He runs into blind alleys, and it's rarer for him to have a good cross than a bad cross. He's the sort of player that would try running the ball out of his own box whilst doing stepovers. I have no idea why Barca (a pass and move team) would want him. The only 'Barca-like' quality he has is that he chases the ball when he loses it. With Chica and Rooney up top we want consistent levels of service.. Young will provide this more, and will chip in with goals.
and young is two footed which is important. so we'll have valencia on the right putting good balls into the box.and young on the other side doing the same thing. obviously young is a more versatile player than valencia tho.
If Nani stays and Young signs I won't care as that gives us more options but what is the point in replacing Nani? He should stay at Utd
Fair enough, you like him.. But he's not gonna be here for much longer, so get over it.... Two more seasons maximum. We've replaced far better.
