They know it's an advantage he has over them. Besides, we all like David, so for me Poch can keep speaking Spanish to the media and David can make his words seem polite.
Had another period of confusion in the prematch interview...Mauricio answering in English by mistake leaving David to repeat in English. In another interview some months ago, David translated it back into Spanish. They had another of their naughty boy giggles.
Best of luck to everyone going up today, would love to be there but will have to make do with a dodgy stream I expect Be with you in heart! COYRs
Thinking of having a modest punt on 1-1 at around 8/1. Or maybe the draw at 10/3. The 6/1 Saints does hold some appeal also. The market's all wrong, there's a definite value opportunity for punters to exploit imo.
I like the positivity going into this game but we have to remember that united are still the champions of England and have that quality. We have a good chance of getting something out of the game, however it's not going to be a walk in the park.
I have woken up today with a terrible sense of foreboding about the game today. Not necessarily a bad thing as have been surprised in the past, but I'd be deliriously happy with a point....
Enjoy, whoever is going, and sing your hearts out. Will be happy with any points today! Going to a beer festival, but will sneek my little old analogue radio out, as we're on 5 live. COYR
"Am hearing that Lambert might have been left out today"... #saintsfc Was posted on Twitter from a Saints fan whose a journalist. Would seem odd imho, unless we are trying to flood the midfield with 5 real midfielders, and letting Dani go up top by himself?
Would make sense, Swansea game showed that we can't dominate the midfield against decent opposition with two upfront.
Twitter rumours are twitter rumours, but it wouldn't be terribly shocking...may want an extra athlete out there to press.
Well it wouldn't be 5 in midfield more we would push Lallana further up field to support Osvaldo but I would like to see lambert playing. We can always make changes if it's not going to plan.
Why didn't we make the same change for Liverpool then? Lambert and Osvaldo seem to be dropping into midfield anyway to help out.
