Maestro...if you want to have a ciggie mate you have one. Everyone these day's appears to brain washed with government and media propaganda. Health conscious and flaming well PC correct. Living in a box as I would call it. Yeah fine smoking is bad for your health and may well kill you but no different to the basic risks of driving a car, walking the street or every other aspect of life we take for granted, until suddenly any loved one's are grieving for us. Bypass the lectures mate and do what you want to do and be who you want to be. The government keeps increasing the pension age due to life expectancy, so the way it's going mate most the population in the UK is going to be working their nuts off until they die anyway or get too old and become senile or at the very least peeing there pants at some decrepit age. I can remember having an exchange of words once with an American, you know the sort, guts busting at the seems, probably dead by 40 with so much gross fat accumulation round his heart, do I care, not one bit but like I say don't lecture me.

drink
eat fatty foods
cross the road on a red light
etc
why would you want to live to 100
only so many grains and pulses before you would want to top yourself anyway

I totally agree with your right to smoke if you want to but don't come on one of my threads taking about it expecting me not to comment.

One of the main reasons I am so anti smoking ..... Apart from the tobacco industries methods of marketing to young people ..... Is that having worked in a hospice for a couple of years & nursed many smokers who have died of oral, throat & lung cancer ..... & seen many very unpleasant deaths .... I can't remember any of those patients who didn't regret smoking

So will we now change the subject ?
