What?!?! I ****ing give up, I really ****ing do after one more try: I' m saying the joke was told and THE PLAYER IS LYING TO A MEDIA CONTACT TO TRY TO STITCH UP ROY. Are you so ****ing dense that light bends around you?
It was only on looking back that I realised you have confused Piara Powar as a member of KIO; he is the Chief Executive of Football Against Football in Europe (FARE). KIO are a separately managed and funded UK organisation - as with football, they are common in that KIO is a part of the FARE network, but fundamentally seperate in policy and activity. They really should be judged on their own individual merits.
I think bum face is saying that the joke was told, but the player responsible for the leak is claiming otherwise, so it looks like a cover up from Woy.
You really didn't need to fix it again for me Jimmy, you are becoming a repeat offender. But seriously, why do you feel the need to corrupt what other posters write, when you know that many will not bother reading back? It has all the hallmarks of someone who believes that big-brother censorship is the only way that their point can be fairly made. While I think of it, did you make the changes as a poster or a moderator; as it does now, as it has in the past, blur the line between your character as one or the other? As I have said, KIO have never called me a racist. Can you show me where you believe they have,or where you believe they have called you a racist , as, if you can, I am prepared to reconsider my approach.
In what sense of the word? Currently a person of any colour, race, religion and sexual orientation can play, manage and coach football, that to me is equality. KIO is divisive, they want more black and Asian people involved in football and spend more time and money helping them than helping white people (who are under represented in the top flight as a percentage of the population), that in itself is racist. Using phrases like 'there are not enough black managers' or 'more asians need to play football' is essentially reducing these people to the colour of their skin creating an us vs them mentality.
There was some research carried out into why so few Asians (a term deemed racist by some it's used to describe and orientals) get involved in football, and the response was that the parents encouraged their children to study for a profession, and they didn't feel football was a suitable profession, so KIA are not only being racist, but also disrespectful to the 'Asian' culture.
If it was a Joke it would have worked better using Suiteds "Woman" rather than the Astronaut Tho i suspect Roy or someone down the line who he heard/read it from , altered it to a more politically correct - Astronaut The astronaut version doesnt read as a joke , but more a motivational quote . The important thing for the squad is to find who leaked the story , Hodgson will feel there is a mole in his ranks and no team talk will be confidential
I'd study summat else than journalism mate. The Chin's probably making 'that' call now and you're ****ed.
We clearly don't agree on much, but thank you for an opportunity of responding to something more than an insult - even though it was not addressed to me.
But it's not is it? Yet again you do your dark editing work, why? Does it give you a sense of gravitas? More and more folk are accepting that the culprit, whoever it is, needs outing for the good of the integrity of the team and dressing room. I have given answers to 'the others'. This off the West Ham link I posted: ' The organisation [Fez edit: KIO - it is the car company that calls itself KIA] utilises the high-profile status of football and football players to help tackle racism in society. The majority of the campaignâs output is the delivery of education to young people and adults in their schools, their workplaces and at events held in football stadiums. Across Britain, Show Racism the Red Card delivers training to more than 50,000 individuals per year.' They may not get everything right and they may not be doing everything in a manner I would prefer, but they are doing a great deal that needs doing. When we suffered the 'Bubble Stigma' by WYP, we, all of us were very vocal against being lumped in with other clubs as a problem - I think you are guilty of that with KIO. You can edit this as much as you like, as my point is well made and you have shown your true colours, as usual.
