French Players are going on strike tomorrow..

on protest over a 75% tax.

 

I wonder how many of their strikes actually succeed.

It seems the French enjoy going on strike.

If they stopped serving cheese at dinnertime they'd be up in arms.

 

We should invade France. I always say it. It's a no brainer to me, why has no government done this yet?

 

Taking positive action against something they disagree with. We should salute them for it.

 

Many governments have done it, but they left because it's full of French people.

 

Isn't arms up classed as military action in France?

There are so many strikes here, most people turn a blind eye, don't know what it's about or don't seem to care. Nowadays the unions are making more political statements such as not allowing staff to work Sundays such as when perfume wholesaler Sephora planned opening its Paris store on a Sunday a couple of weeks ago. Some staff wanted to work overtime but their Union instead of supporting this made a statement AGAINST working.

The 75% tax band ushered in by Socialist Francois Hollande only affects the very rich - i.e. Ligue 1 footballers. It doesn't affect AS Monaco however which is a tax haven. I think there may be some relation to this anomaly.

 

Its easy if they don't want to pay 75% tax don't earn so ****ing much

 

Says the person who thought taking positive action when we played Huddersfield was to go along with the police's decisions on kick off times, restricted numbers and transport transport restricitons.

 

Of course you could take a pay cut and not pay any tax at all.
