Can't deny that Drogs<ok> But lets face it, he was deemed evil after the WC handball by the media and false moral brigade<ok> he then just made it worse.
there isn't a person here who would not have done what he did, and when faced with that reality they then resort to "oh but I would not have celebrated Ghana missing the penalty" which is just bollocks. How is it any different from a player diving for a peno and celebrating the peno going in and a goal being scored?

Matth you are a good example of the average unenlightened fan who uses personal assumptions and preferences as some basis for fact.

we agree on 2nd point that Young get more protection bcz he is english, so let us jump into the points we disagree on
1- Suarez dived more over the past years, and that is a "fakt", so it is normal he get more criticism than Young
2- yes Suarez was portrayed as the bad boy since the WC handball accident, but he never helped his case since , did he? he just gone from bad to worst every season

ps. not sure why you relate this arguments to another post, pls stay on topic

Yes he hasn't helped himself, neither has any other diver, it's about diving and there must be what amounts of thousands of divers in the modern game.

    I think we'll get over it<laugh>

The WC handball was when I took note that this guy might be a complete cock. Then there's the diving, biting incidents, 'racism', and generally being a complete twat on the pitch. When he's not diving he's being tackled then screaming at the ref for a free kick 99% of the time (that I have seen him play at least). This is why I don't like the man, and I imagine many others are in the same boat. Let's face it, if he played for another team in this league instead of LFC you'd dislike him somewhat too <ok>

Suarez isn't my favourite person but I'm surprised no one says anything about the Ghana player who dived to win the free kick before the hand ball incident.

Who said I liked him? I don't even know the guy but I won't judge someone based on how they play a competitive sport where the primary objective is to win at any cost.

Barton got less negative press ffs, says it all. Keane stamped on players, Huth stamped on Suarez chest and people were saying he should have stomped him into the ground because he dived<yikes> Sorry but football fans are all too often bigots.

I am not getting into the Evra Suarez thing but it was "he said she said" there was never and will never be a shred of proof of what happened that day. So stop using is as some fact to make a point. The only thing proven beyond all doubt is that Evra told lies and changed his story.

because it doesn't feed the bigotry many fans have that the media exploit. Anything that may lessen the mass indignation felt over what Suarez did is ignored.<ok>

We all know Drogba played to win, like it lump it that was what he was about, sometimes he used brilliance sometimes antics but he still was an epic player and all the stuff he did on the pitch is absolutely no reflection of the guy he is off the pitch.

Worlds apart. Drogba was theatrical but Suarez's rap sheet is as long as his front teeth. Every club has players that do silly things, cheat and the like, Suarez is like a Dr Frankenstein creation of all the worst bits about a footballer in one player. He may be a smashing guy off the field, but on it he's a cast iron c*nt.

hmm, I'll give you the bite was different, Drogba used fouls feigning injury diving handball goals and even rolling off the pitch and back on to stop a game.

Not even remotely worlds apart no matter how much you try say they are. straw clutching at its best mate.

And of course you let your tribal instincts take control of your hands because you totally overlooked the actual point being made because it was not about comparing Drogba and Suarez directly and what they do. Pretty lame really dude.

You didn't have the sense to consider the post it was in reply to or the context of the post<doh>
Other than the bite Suarez does nothing that many other footballers do and they don't get castigated for it. he was public enemy no1 before the bite anyways, or should I say nibble :)

I had to laugh at some fans and members on here who said they would rather have an elbow in the face than someone nibble on heir arm and not even break the skin.

And to further back my point, Dafoe got no ban, that's the whole point of what I was talking about, the dirty south american gets slammed and good auld dafoe gets nothing because of some crappy lie that the ref saw it when he didnt, the ref saw ivanovic and Suarez tangle.

the British PM didnt speak out when Dafoe bit someone

Drogba theatrical? :D that cheat should've won several Oscars for his play acting. I remember one game against Barcelona when he spent about 20mins of the game on the floor crying like a baby cos the wind picked up, and the Dropba / Lehman showdown was probably the funniest/saddest thing I've ever seen on a football pitch. :D

Suarez is the worst of the worst though let's be fair, he makes all his own problems and personally i love the little ****, long may he continue to piss off every single one of our oppositions fans :)

cheating /diving/pulling shirts/ blocking keepers/walking 2 extra yards to take a throw/free kick / sending death threats to ref's / tapping up players and serving transfer bans for it are all part of the modern game and until the powers that be change that.. pissing and moaning about who has the worst cheat is just funny as ****.

hate the game not the Playa homie

It is pretty much the modern game.

It's just laughable how much some people put so much stock in footballers and what they do on the pitch, and all to the joyous hand rubbing of the media.

What players do or do not do on the pitch actually matter **** all, only people with **** all better to do get so emotional over it and feel things like hate<doh>

To put it simply, Drogba annoyed the crap out of me at times, but if he was playing for Liverpool and doing it I would not be irked by the things he does. Granted some take it to a new level and piss off their own fans, and Suarez has done that with the Ivanovic thing, that is the only time I thought "oh god you ****ing idiot" and only because of the ****storm it was going to fuel, but 10 minutes later I didn't give a ****.<ok>

when he nibbled ivanovic I Laughed then I thought you twat, there goes the golden boot and here comes a ban.

tbh it wouldn't of surprised me If they had just hung drawn and quartered him then and there, the media frenzy was just unbelievable.

but like I say, as long as he doesn't get any bans he can play all the tricks in the book as far as I'm concerned. :)

Exactly because it means nothing and is just an excuse for fans to vent their already present discontent with their own lives
