It's certainly the most biased and incorrect! http://blog.emiratesstadium.info/archives/31951? Truly laughable
oh, and I wouldn't bother trying to tell them in the comment section that their website is ridiculous - they delete any comments that criticise them
If Lee Probert is so obviously pro-Norwich, what a shame he didn't oversee our match at the Emirates last season where we were cruelly robbed of a deserved point by two (2) shocking late decisions by inept officials.
the author predicts that grant holt will fall over a piece of grass and get a penalty all that amazing research into the referee yet he doesn't know who plays for us! i've left 7 comments, all of which are failing because they criticise the site. i might keep sending them comments every twenty minutes or so, just to annoy them
Don't bother, you're really wasting your time. They now don't even review your posts, they'll just dismiss them. I commented about a year and a half ago, which was when they didn't have a filter and "Walter Broeckx" got so annoyed, that's when they started filtering comments. It was related to the 3-3 draw we had, though I think they've now deleted the article. The chap makes all sorts of claims about the reviews being by independent, fully qualified and experienced referees. In reality it's three (or at least was) Arsenal fans with a first level referee certificate. My experience with this website (which gets a depressingly high number of comments), along with experience on here confirms to me that Arsenal fans are the single most one-eyed group of supporters out there, by some margin. I'm surprised the FA hasn't clocked it because I pointed out that some of their assertions are close to libel, and given the extent of their audience they could be in real trouble. EDIT: actually, I just remembered they have been warned a number of times about their comments and their response was that it was clear evidence of an anti-Arsenal campaign within the FA. I think this was the article. http://blog.emiratesstadium.info/archives/21007
Despite the blog being a total load of pooh, I do hope Lee Probert gives us a few terrible decisions that helps us win, you'll hear the whining for months
...and I would like to shakes this guys hand.... Flopadob October 18, 2013 at 8:32 am Have you written any reviews of the match last season at the Emirates where Mike Jones single-handedly gifted Arsenal the win? Thought not…
My mate I sit next to at work has a season ticket at The Emirates and is always bemoaning the awful treatment they get at the hands of referees. We were talking about saturday's match yesterday and I commented that I hope its just a fair game not ruined by the officials like last season's one was and he looked at me in a state of complete bewilderment and claimed to not have a clue what I was talking about. I said I didn't want to get into a big conversation about it but did remind him how we were properly stitched up and all he did was laugh and say "yeah, alright mate, whatever" brushing it off as nothing more than sour grapes. He's a top lad and everything who I get on really well with but that conversation really did my head in, muppet
still no sign of my (now 9) comments this site just gets funnier and funnier though. check out this: http://blog.emiratesstadium.info/archives/30387 apparently, we are one of the most favoured clubs in the premier league!! i had a quick look at their referee reviews from last season and EVERY SINGLE ONE i clicked on had shown bias against arsenal. now how likely do we think that actually is, eh? rob, that's a farcical review of our match a couple of years ago. particularly loved the comment about jackson being sent off - i watched the match and actually he got elbowed by koscielny in the lead up to that foul - no mention of it. also, in the 42nd minute he states that two players had hold of each others shirts so no penalty but in last seasons game kei kamara was involved in a similar incident but that was correct? its absolutely the most disgraceful football website i've seen - it brings the game into disrepute!
i tried to post something similar but it hasn't shown up. mind you, mine was a little more aggressive, shall we say...
What happened that day, was just par for the course for them when playing us, (home or away) and hence nothing out of the ordinary so is easily dismissed from memory
every single arsenal fan i know personally is exactly the same. it actually makes it very difficult to enjoy watching arsenal, knowing that their fans are like this because you know the reaction you will get, win, lose or draw - if they win it'll be cos they are better and any grievance we have is in our heads, sour grapes, yet if they lose or draw it is entirely down to the ref being biased. but as i've always stated, the fans are mimicking their manager - he is exactly the same and they take their awful attitude from him.
it's true they do seem to have more than their fair share of one-sided fans. if i'm feeling brave i might go into their board later
A few years ago, the school I was teaching at went on the Emirates tour, and I had to go to supervise them. I have to say the tour is very well set out and informative, but I think I may have upset the guide. When he pointed out where 'Mr. Wenger stands and sits, so that he has the perfect view', I asked him - in all innocence of course - where did he stand when all the incidents that he never managed to see happen. The guide quickly moved us on.
Delia's comment is now apparently "in moderation" meaning it will be disappearing some time soon I guess.
