Last night on the news a fat geordie who looked like he could run about 10 yards before collapsing claimed that he was gonna run 41 miles a day across austrailia in temps over 100 degrees farenheit thru the outback for charity. The top ethiopian athletes would struggle with that. Absolute bollox.

Do you know it's for cancer charities- a serious cause which affects lots of people in different ways?
Not really something you should mock.
I'd put your hard hat on if I were you fella.

Yes I do know what it is for but it does not alter the fact that it is absolute bollox. 41 miles per day every day thru the Austrailian desert and have you seen the size of the guy. It would be a mammoth task for someone who is superfit and this bloke is clearly not. Over a marathon and a half every day in those temperatures I just don't believe it. Maybe I'm just too cynical.

Then don't mention the fact he's a geordie. It makes you look petty and bigoted.

What a ****ing dipstick you are. The bloke is prepared to get off his arse and do something for a very worthwhile cause and all you can do is rubbish his attempt.

What a complete ****ing tool you are.

Read up about him NMG ffs.
He ran 3000 miles across the US in 100 days a couple of years ago.
He is overweight on medical grounds as he will burn over 6000 calories a day and needs the extra weight to avoid muscle and organ damage.
Suffice to say when you see him at the finish line he will be skinny.

    Ha Ha! good point.

I'll put 10p in for every mile he falls short if you put 5p in for ever mile he does NMG?

your max donation will be less than £150 if he fails as you say?

I'm not bothered what you say. It's still absolute bollox think of the people who train for months and do the GNR and the state they are in when you meet them the next day. If you think this obese guy can actually do this you are just all ****ing gullible.

Why don't you get off your arse and do something for charity, instead of being a suspicious twat?

I weigh 17st, but did the London Marathon a few years back and raised three grand for a local charity, so I don't see why a fellow salad-dodger shouldn't get fitter and do a lot more.

I wasn't, but it depends on how much you train. Eddie Izzard ran loads in succession, he was so fit.

I could certainly have done a half marathon the next day, though.
