    I think he'll do OK there - but it's another example of how fickle clubs can be - Martin Allen got them promoted last season - surely they should have stood by him for longer this season ...

    One useless ex-Leicester manager replaces another, with our large manager casualties recently I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.

    Taylor was only ever the manager at Hull. He didn't take the club over.

    I suspect he is just being pedantic about the terminology you used ... i.e Taylor was merely appointed to an 'employee' position at the club rather than having 'taken over' the club's ownership ... which the Allams did ...

    He did well for us really. Definitely a very nice chap but he was tactically limited and ran out of ideas when we made it to the Championship. Fortunately he jumped ship for a bigger and richer club than us - Palace. I think the majority of City supporters were quite happy to see him go at the time.

    Spot on Fosse.

    Taylor did very well for us (apart from parking the bus at 1-0). He found his limitations at Championship level though.
