.......... Are other clubs starting to make faster/better/more decisive moves in the transfer Market? ....... After all the positive noises we seem to have made early in the close season......

the Transfer window opens tomorrow and after all the talk if we dont have any progress to report by monday then i will become rather pessimistic about this window

I'm not worrying to much. Transfer window is open till end of Aug if im not mistaken
so plenty of time. Also it's looking 99.9% Cabaye is in the bag.

 

Signing players takes ages, I wouldn't wprry to much if nothing finalised for at least another 2/3 weeks.

 

... And of course fat Ash is wanting our season ticket money now too......

 

We have got Cabaye I think and possibly Taylor so thats good for us.

 

Yes it takes ages.. so all the more reason to get out first ahead of the pack. i dont want us rushing to buy players the week before the window closes.

my pessimism at the moment comes from something pardew said.. it was along the lines of us not moving for players yet because nobody else has made their moves...

we are not the pulling force we once were and if people get ahead of us we have no chance of bringing in better players that we already have

I think Pardew means that he is looking at the player and talked to the club about them, but they then have to try and find a replacement before selling the players. That's the way I look at it anyways. It's early days, so I will remain calm up until about a week to go before the deadline, then if we haven't signed anyone I will worry...ALOT!

Shane ferguson will be first choice surely? hes absolutely class, im happy with him or enrique to be honest.

 

The transfer window hasn't opened yet, be patient. It took us until after the season had started to sign Tiote and Ben Arfa last year!

I'd rather this than Jones and Henderson at £20m a pop!

I'm very pleased with how things are going and it's still early days.

 

Surely ye all forget, the men at the top never let anything slip in regards to transfers .. same every window that Fat Ash has been in charge, the papers do their bit and stoke the rumour mill .. we all get our hopes up and our gold signings (Gervinho, Gameiro etc etc) go somewhere else, we all get frustrated at the silence from manager and board .. and then BOOM .. a signing out of nowhere that was on no one's wish list ..

Have you ever watched Taylor? Because if not i'd like to know where the negativity came from? Most Swansea fans i've spoke to have said how good he was last season. Look at some players which have come from the championship: Phil Jagielka, Tim Cahill, Joleon Lescott

The only clubs that have been at all active so far are the 'big' clubs, who will always sign players sooner, rathert than wait for bargains.
