Yes. I think they will win their last two qualifying games and then struggle to get to the knock out stage.

I think Ísland will not get past the play off matches.

I really do not care - those who run the game in this country don't, so why should I?

I guess that they shouldn't count their chickens, but I really can't see them losing to either of Montenegro or Poland - both have fairly ordinary away records. So, yes they will qualify.

Whether they go any further is highly doubtful though - simply not in the same class as other qualifiers.

We'll probably scrape through but not be seeded so face a very tricky group.

Brazil will win I think overall in their own backyard.

Going to be a good world cup though, I am so tempted to go but the cost would be too much with my wedding coming up the year after...

Mex, what is happening to Mexico? There seems to be a real possibility that they won't qualify.

They (Mexico) have Panama tonight at 8:30 and they need to win, then the same against Costa Rica to stand a chance of 4th spot and the play-off. That play-off is against the winner of the Oceania group, coincidently a group a certain New Zealand won!!

http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/oceania/standings/playoff.html for the play-off dates mate...

Mexico changed their coach recently and their is renewed optimism although it might be too late to qualify for Brazil now, http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/...l-vucetich-hired-as-new-head-coach-of-mexico/

Check out this winning goal from Mexico yesterday, they were drawing 1-1 and it was the last 5 minutes. One more win, away to Costa Rica, and Mexico will make the play off against New Zealand..

Belkalem has just made a poor diving tackle to give away a penalty whilst playing for Algeria in their qualifier.

What am I doing watching Algeria play Burkino Faso you may ask. Good question!

Gave away a second too - absolutely shocking decision by the ref who deemed handball - he had his hands together behind his back ffs.

Agreed very unfortunate! However not a great performance from him overall sadly.

Mexico v NZ in the play off then.

England in the hat too, as an England fan who would you like in the group stages?

I'd like Brazil and other big teams. If we are not seeded and want to do something in the WC then must have to up our game against the giants. If not we'll go out with a whimper.

Could we get The Faroe Islands and The Maldives in the group stages - we might have a chance if we do!

No doubt we will scrape through in second place and come up against a country with a small amount of class and get sent packing. To be followed up by the same press that predicted we had a good chance of winning it, throwing their hands up in horror! It's like Groundhog Day every 4 years!
One positive could be that that goddam awful Band that follow England round will be drowned out by the sound of Samba and Santana...

The population of Mexico City is more than double that of NZ! Still, we have Shane Smeltz (ex Halifax and non-league Wimbledon) in attack, and he scored more goals than Wayne Rooney in the last finals.

As for England, I don't think it matters who they are drawn with. They will be knocked out in the second round. If they are in the same group as Germany they can't be beaten on penalties.
