So for those travelling, like myself, what's the food like in Goodison Park? Also is there anywhere to eat, outside the stadium nearby? Maybe a KFC for Tickles?
I cant remember the food to be honest but I went in our first season after promotion and it's probably the least redeveloped ground in the Prem and the area around it is a ****hole. I'd eat before I got there....
This place is decent, not sure if they do food on matchdays though & not too far away http://www.bradleyswinebar.com/
I love web addresses. I had that as the Bradley Swine Bar. I wouldn't eat anywhere that caters primarily for pigs.
I remember walking down the street outside the ground, which is all back-to-back terraced housing, and there was a queue at someone's front window. Joined the queue and they were selling chips out of their kitchen window!
We went in the arkles ( spelling? ) they were ok with us but we didn't have any colours showing! Good pint though might give it a go in there again!
There's a KFC near the ground on Lowell Street apparently. Walk up Goodison Road, past the Church and Auto parts place. It's a street on your left as you approach it, walk straight down. There you go Tickles According to Google Maps it's a 6 minute walk.
