I can't pretend I don't like all the controversy that comes with Luis, admittedly not the bans but the fact everyone including many Liverpool fans hate him for me at least... is a huge compliment to his unique ability, I love that he is the pantomime villain and wouldn't want him to change his style one bit, the sly digs and rough-housing of defenders twice his size, the win at all costs attitude that sometimes boils over, the handballs, the dives, the nutmegs, skills and goals. all the hate just proves how damn good he is.
some of comments by other members did suggested that Suarez one was really a foul regarding the press, well 1- let us be honest, if I do a list of how many times Suarez and Young did it, number wise, Suarez had done it way more 2- Young is english .. so sure he will get more protection 3- Suarez have other bad packages not only cheating, whether it is racism or biting players or giving bad gestures .. he is just giving the media more material to portrait him as the bad boy 4- Liverpool never come out criticizing Suarez and you manager always protected Suarez, when Young dived, Moyes was fast to criticize him and dropped him.. I think that has a lot to do with him being a United fan, and Welsh. All three are divers, however Suarez involves himself in other issues. Which is why he's hated so much, NOT because he's South american. I hate all three for the reasons mentioned, am I a bigot? I also hated it when Drogba, Torres, Robben or any other Chelsea player pranced around and fell like a falling stone.
