A player at full speed over a defined length of pitch, anyone can use any footage of a player running and extrapolate their speed. Why would they actually put the speed in, or need to and how does that make it less valid than the FIFA one? Oh yeah, there are no United players in the Bleacher report one, and that is all you need to believe the FIFA one, even your fellow supporters find this FIFA one a joke

If you think Rooney is even the 7th fastest player in Manchester you are a complete fool, if you think Valencia is the fastest player in the world you need to top off your meds

don't you watch international football matches? don't you watch when they show other speed stats too like speed of a long shoot in km/h too
those stats are shown from time to time during the match , just like distance covered, % of accurate passes ..etc.
and FIFA have all the records

 

i'm a bit surprised not to see Chicharito and Nani on the list.

 

I think it is based on last year performance during international matches .. I seen some old stats during WC2010 with Chicharito reaching the top with 32.5km/h

 

Antonio Valencia is actually really fast tough.

Maybe Rooney being 7th is not true but im not saying if Valencia is the fastest player in the world, i think he is one of them. When he does run at defenders, it is hard to catch him thats why most of the time his knock the ball forward and run to it mostly works because he always manages to outpace the full-back and reach it.

Remember what he done to Cole? made Cole look like amateur
