Nothing can be done about dives where there is contact but dives clearly without any contact should have some action taken, pure simulation needs to be addressed.
no it's not but that's life and blaming players for gaining an unfair advantage is pointless, as I'm sure you remember having once had the king of feigning injury in your ranks... Drogba. and it's as simple as that, diving like it or not is a big part of the game these days and until the governing bodies do something to stamp it out then who can blame one player for diving when 100 other players do it and get a yellow at worst 2 yellows and off.
Read a lot of your posts and don`t agree with many, on this i do, needs to be stamped out no matter who they play for.
hhhhh Suarez fall to the floor without a contact .. I can't see how Suarez one is more legitimate penalty than Young one or as some pointing out saying that Young dive is worst ? bcz i can't see any difference tbh
What's the difference between not being touched(Suarez) and kicking a player and falling over(Young)? The difference is the latter commits a foul and wasn't touched
I totally agree, both were guilty though cheating is a vague term. You can argue Hart was cheating when he pretended the ball didn't go out for a corner against Poland. If cheating is trying to con the officials to gain advantage then where do you draw the line. There are many dives that are not for penalties, they are all over other parts of the pitch, defenders dive pretending to be felled but cards are never given for them
I agree with you, it is hard, but maybe they should do what they do in rugby, retrospective punishment.
The scots tried it and FIFA weren't having it, common sense and FIFA go together like Suarez and Evra
they both are divers .. no one is better than the other .. anyone who think Suarez one is better than Young one is just a deluded person
No one thinks that, but only Suarez has been castigated by the press for it and every fan with false morality. Sure here is a Suarez dived thread even though he was playing for Uruguay
So why didn't they castigate Bale who holds the PL record by some margin for bookings for diving in a season and why they don't Young who is a serial diver? You seem to blame them for any negative thing printed about United players btw
Thats pretty much spot on. Suarez fits one of the many the stereotypes British culture has a penchant for slating
