It will continue to be discussed while other high profile football players and managers utter comments regarded by some [not me or anyone I know] as racist. It's inevitable.
Understandable, but when did that happen? Or are you referring to the ridiculous blown out of all proportion comment made by Woy that doesn't justify being a rumour in a pub on a Saturday night?
The kick it out Campaign people have investigated it and are happy no offence was caused, and no offence taken
I presume you mean when did he make a racist comment. According to anti-racism campaigners that would have been at half time during England game. You also draw attention to the similarity in reaction when you say 'blown out of all proportion'. ..... and that's why this thread is here and why these 'incidents' will continue to be talked about and compared.
They didnt investigate **** mate. Everyone including Andros said what the **** are kick it out talking about and so they shut the **** up
On the other hand the kick it out Campaign are not happy with Spurs fans using the 'Y' word after receiving complaints from offended members of the Jewish community, why are Spurs fans determined that the offence should carry on, after all nowhere in the clubs name does the 'Y' word appear.
Seriously, even if they had done that, who the **** do they think they are? What self-appointed arbiters of right and wrong have the ****ing legitimate right to pontificate on this? are we supposed to be relieved - till next time? Remember when the arseholes forced an investigation into what oliver holt is supposed to have heard at an away international (he who swore blind an Oldham player had been called a 'black bastard', even though he was 3000 miles away in an hotel in Dubai at the time...), and the FA had to say that even though there was no evidence at all to support the allegation, they thanked KIO for raising it (though no-one from KIO actually heard it either and were relying on, er, what Oliver Holt had said....)? Here's a suggestion - what about an investigation into KIO: it's funding, motivation, sinecures and influences? ****shafts.
I've stated the fact's. but just for you. Jewish people are offended by the use of the 'Y' word at WHL and the police will now arrest anyone home or away supporter that uses the offensive term. Spurs fans in turn are offended that the Jewish community are offended and plan on carrying on offending.
No JB, I was being sarcastic. I know when the Woy thing happened but IMO, it doesn't constitute anything remotely like racism
Gez, it doesn't in anyones' book. But by the Kafka-esque standards of nonsense that the FA have set themselves, they should be forced to have a bite out of their own **** sandwich, and hopefully choke them ****ing selves.
"In a statement Kick It Out said: "Kick It Out, football's equality and inclusion campaign, recognises and shares the concerns of the parties who felt mindful to bring the comments into the public domain. "The matter has been raised by the Chair, Lord Herman Ouseley, directly with The Football Association (FA), who acknowledges the apology made by Roy Hodgson, and now seeks an investigation to ascertain the full facts and ensure a similar situation does not arise again."
Yeh I know you were mate, I was sort of being sarcastic back - I should have included 'nobody knows when the racist comment was made but according to anti racist .....' - they're the only ones who deem something racist or not don't you know
