The NUFC Likely Boys 2011/2012

as gervinho, gremeiro and others become less and likely to join NUFC next season and Barton and nolan being forced out by MA and enrique realising where not really going anywhere then i have recentley spiraled into a minor depression (it changes from day to day), i have been left feeling that our line up for next season could look a bit more like this -

i know above is a dream but we shouldnt really be too far of it if it wasnt for MA and running the club like a charity.
he talks about ****ing stability when he cant keep our two captains, when all they need are a couple more years on thier contracts and he wont pay anyone over minimum wage to play for us.
its all well and good to be run like a buisness but an owner should also have his own targets and invest in the team accordingly otherwise he shows how little he cares for the club and how he would rather make money out of OUR club than bankroll it forward toward greater things.
i dont really care anymore about things that he has done in that past because keegan, hughton, wise ect dont matter anymore, even him paying out 100m or so to keep the club afloat becuase thats just to protect his invesment, its not for the club.
its about the future. were never going to go forward under ashley becuase we have to sell to buy and with that theory in place next year we will sell tiote, the year after that we will sell furguson, vukic ect and we will be back to stage one.
in my opinion pardew wont last the season, id hope he would but ashley isnt a fan he's a buisnesman, he has no passion, no personal drive for the team, and the only reason he is sitting nice and cosy on his fat ass is that he knows he doesnt have to invest anymore money into the club again becuase we have 30m in cash to spend.

Disagree. IMO Best is our BEST striker & I'll be satisfied if he was our lone striker next season, although a better striker is of course needed.

It's just that by now and August 31st a lot of players will be put up for sale at low prices which could mean we get them even though they're not on our radar now.

best has been fine for us and looks like a good buy in the end, hes still young.

ranger has potential to be a good target man.

ameobi should be moved on, keen loven because hes a top bloke and not even that bad of a player, give airey more games and SIGN ONE TOP CLASS STRIKER, JUST ONE PLEASE.


Also i completely disagree with the TC hes overracting barton and nolan will likely stay unless we get great offers for them....which we probably wont. Also if we sell enrique it will be for a decent money, and for all his flair and skill hes not exactly the best crosser of the ball is he? young shane ferguson is not much worse at all in my opinion and could easily be one of the best left backs the club has ever produced if he keeps up his performances.


At the end of the day if we lose our players we will recieve money for them and be able to buy replacements, and with the skill we have somehow aquired in the transfer market probably better replacements.

We need 2 or 3 decent forwards along with Best,Plus I will be really pissed of of Swansea's Taylor is Jose's replacemen.
Championship football could be on the cards if nothing major is done ie barton,nolan staying

Agree that Best is a good striker but it would be a disgrace if we didn't buy at least one striker far better than him since it's been the obvious hole in our side since January and Pardew has even said himself that strikers are the aim for this window.
