Exactly - as proven by the importance of Coutinho and Sturridge, rather than Suarez alone.

  2. Charlie Adam's 10m was in pound Sterling, Suarez's is worth a lot more than $100m(about £3.76) you suggest <doh>

Spoke to my mate at lunchtime.

There's nothing new in this. It's just recycled ****. They might or might not want him. They may come in in January or they might not. It's much like Baines and united, except they did actually make some form of bid. Madrid have yet to make ANY form of bid.

No, let's not gloss over this. SOMEONE is still briefing the press that Suarez is not happy and wants to leave in January - OR - the Independent is making it up. In which case Luis can put everyone's mind at ease.

Every transfer window this is going to happen now, so THAT is why I say the pragmatic decision may be to sell - or to turn our fire on his agent and/or the press to say we won't crawl anymore. Yes, we could say leave it a couple of months until it happens, no point worrying now, etc; or we plan now for the ****storm that'll almost certainly happen.

All that said, you read this and realise why any player would want out, even if it's to Arsenal where he'd at least get some support from the club.

And yes, leaving Liverpool is EXACTLY what the media, especially the Mail, have wanted ever since he ran riot amongst united's defence that spring day in 2011, but FSG have made it clear they're all wind when they failed to appeal THAT ban.
