    Good luck with that, got a spare £50m+ ? Course not, your owner is too much of a money grabber to let you have that. He's not even letting you have all of the £35m, he's only putting £20m for transfers reportedly. I get this off a newcastle fan, whose a good friend of mine

    £20mil transfer funds but all goes into the club.

    Yes it is, but that's how much it'll cost whoever takes him off us i reckon. You never sell a good player at actual value, otherwise Liverpool wouldn't have sold Torres for £50m, and you wouldn't have sold Carroll for £35m

    Should he though? He did well for you filling in for the departed Carroll, but if you want to improve on your position last season, having a better striking force will go a long way to achieveing that. Having Ben Arfa back as well, he's a great player, who will make a really big impact :)

    Possibly, and that's not a great thing. You need to buy a couple of new strikers I think, then you can kick on to securing top 10 again, maybe pushing for the last spot in Europa League if the cup winners already all have spaces
