Trouble is clips of this keep getting taken down. Why can't theybjustput them all on DVD? Would sell stacks. Great to watch though. That show established Tamla which had just done a tour which was greeted enthusiastically but only by small audiences. Tamla was always grateful to Dusty Springfield for bringing it about. The Temptations were flown in for the show, they hadn't been on the tour. Always was a great fan of David Ruffin. Interesting to watch the flirting between Martha Reeves, (who never married and Dusty.
Saw them live again for something like the 10th time in the summer at Hyde Park. They're ****ing brilliant. Couldn't choose a favourite song. Brown Sugar Sympathy for the Devil Honkytonk Woman Jumpin' Jack Flash Start Me Up It's Only Rock'n'Roll Satisfaction Paint It Black All class, all of those are my favourite.
I saw them live in Leicester in 74. It was indoors and cost £3. There was talk that they were breaking up back then and here we are 39 years on....crazy. Jagger has still got it at age 105 (I think). He/they put all these dip-****e wannabies to shame. Personally, I can't pick a favourite. Thumbs up to the OP on this thread. Incidently, how do you put a thumbs up on here.

All of it really, Fav LP ? Exile on main st. The Stones are unbelievable, they go without saying. Great thread Stan
Not neccessarilly a fave Stones song but an underestimated one even by the Stones as Mick explains in the clip.
Beautiful song & we may never have heard of Marianne Faithful without Jagger's generosity ?

That is a cover of a Valentinos aong, lead singer and writer of the song, Bobby Womack. Rod Stewart wasn't doing it as a tribute to The Stones.
