I think you've misunderstood the jocular nature of my post. ROBBIE Brady is out with a hernia. Given Dr. Allam's self confessed lack of football knowledge I alluded to the rather potential farcical situation that he understood it to be STEVE Brady, the leader of our glorious City Council, to be the victim of said injury.
In that case the person that told me is out of touch, which isnt like him or its moving further down the line to actually happening
http://m.rlfans.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=16858429 It has been a topic on here and both RL forums. The consensus was the there wasn't enough land to make it work, with the infrastructure needed.
Aahh Google Maps, that invaluable reference site used by all town planners, architects, builders etc to decide whether or not something can be built. You best contact them to let them know of your findings in case they haven't realised it looks viable.
Siemens was also mentioned and getting access from Hedon Rd. It may be old news it may be a load of ****, just passing on what I heard. Im not "in the know" so I take it all with a pinch of salt
Get a life, the last debate on here about Craven Park and the sports village, had amongst the reasons that it would not work that the housing and infrastructure in the area posed too much of a problem.
Google Maps and Google Earth are heavily used by town planners and architects, it is as you say 'invaluable' to them.
There's no fair there, so councilors won't be bothered about losing their annual back hander from the gyp...travelers, who run it.
They weren't bothered about the fair when they offered Assem Allam a joint venture to develop his sports village in 2011, so why would they be bothered now.
I really don't know, maybe they knew full well,he wouldn't accept such a deal, or maybe their proposed deal would have kept their pockets lined, with a similar booty ? I'm just talking here...
They were, there was never a joint venture offered that included the Walton St site, the council made it clear at all times that moving the fair was not up for discussion.
