QPR midfielder Alejandro Faurlin wants to prove to manager Harry Redknapp he is worthy of a place in the club's packed midfield. The Argentine was shipped out on loan to Palermo last season when Redknapp first joined the club but this season, amid fierce competition for a starting role with team-mates Karl Henry, Joey Barton, Jermaine Jenas, Gary O'Neil and on loan Spurs star Tom Carroll for a spot in the centre, he has shone in a five-man midfield. "In the last two games the gaffer has put a lot of similar-type players in the midfield to help us keep the ball," Faurlin told the club website. "This style suits me, I love to play football this way. "I want to be in the manager's plans so I am trying to do my best to show him that he can count on me. "I want to be part of the team, I want to be part of what is happening here." please log in to view this image Read more at http://talksport.com/football/qpr-s...orth-redknapp-13101664241#kwmXjA6UG2FFwQpQ.99
Suspensions and injuries to our midfielders will ensure he gets opportunities, its up to him, whether he takes them
Harry only sent him out on loan in January because he was not performing well and his head wasn't in the right place (hasn't been since the injury and Faurlingate). Seems to be better on the field and in a better frame of mind now. Over to you Ale.
It's your opinion but IMO Faurlin is the best midfielder in the division by a long way ... On his game he is outstanding
Ale you are a class act and a hoop through and through, I hope that you stay and prove what a great asset you are to the team.
Faurlin choked in the PL so its time he stepped up to the plate and stopped mouthing off. Only by his actions can he prove he's worth it, not by mealy-mouthed words. As Eamon said, over to you Ale
He doesn't do anywhere near enough. Apart from whine. 3.5 million you are having a laugh. 750,00 at a push. Get rid.
I think that's unfair. He played well in our first EPL season but had injury problems and never quite got back. Also, I don't blame anyone for having a **** season last season. The while club was a mess. Only a few players were mentally strong enough to perform above the team average last season. Very few. Maybe two or three. I think he deserves another go.

Henry does one job and does it very well ... Those you miss that are watching and following the ball He keeps the team in good shape Faurlin can do this job as well as other aspects of the Henry role Henry hasn't got the vision or craft but is essential IMO to make a side hard to beat ... As we face better teams in terms of football Henry comes in Faurlin can unlock a side with one pass whereas Henry is the gate keeper when we haven't got the ball
OK, so Faurlin can perform Henry's role as well as Henry, whilst giving us better passing options. Therefore he should partner Barton, who probably is the best midfielder in the division. Ergo, no place for Henry.
I agree. And he wasn't one of them - IE - he choked. Deserves another go no doubt but its time he did his talking on the field because we've seen nothing much out of him over the last two years. He was the one and only player I thought would be able for the PL that time but I hold my hands up and now admit that I called it totally wrong. Its a pity others won't do similar.
I thought you had decent streams for the premiership in Ireland. For the first half of the 2011-12 season he was our best player, in my view, until his injury. Choked? I don't think so.
