Good performance, did the hard work and did what they had to. Thought Jagielka was immense, him and Cahill really seem to be forming a partnership much greater than the sum of its parts.

Smalling did very well also considering he must have been very nervous, and honourable mention for Welbeck of course who really ran himself into the ground for the cause ;)

And if Rooney maintains this form he might even have a good tournament for once.
 
Typical Scotland - beat Croatia home and away, but slip up against the lower ranked teams. Oh, and congratulations England.
 
Well done England and Roy Hodgson. Genuinely thought we would not make it at some stages.

This is far from a great side, but one thing they have is fight and organisation. Well done Roy.

In the goalscoring run of his life, Aaron Ramsey runs on to a cute ass from Craig Bellamy to stab in through the keeper's legs. What a strong result this could be for Wales!

Welbeck played good second half, but a certain Lallana should have played.

Was the cute ass Bellamy's, or the keeper's?
 
Realistically, England should always qualify for tournaments, but getting into the last 8 is beyond us without a lot of luck (and we are never lucky in tournaments). Sometimes you just have to accept where you are in the pecking order...all we can ask is that they play as well as they can with passion and some players gain experience for the next tournament.
