You can't blame Baines for that. He was taking the corner, can't help the fact they broke down his side, he's good but he's not superman Blame Townsend for slowly jogging back and not making the effort
I think Sturridge and Welbeck have been good in the build up and we look dangerous. In front of goal? Yeah **** but that will change hopefully. Sturridge is a little nervous that's all.

Don't agree. His running, passing and balls in has been great. When they have run at him he hasn't let them past. He has been very good.
This..I cannot see why he shouldn't be given credit . He was Good Friday and he's been good tonight. Better than cole would have been. Cole rarely has a final ball and Baines does. He's done what he's had to do defensively. Compare him to small ing and there is a world of difference.
Loving the movement between Welbeck, Rooney, Townsend and Sturridge, with both Baines and Gerrard pushing forward it's a ballsy move by Hodgson but we've produced some of the best football I've seen in a few years. Sturridge and Welbeck seem nervous in front of goal, hopefully that goal will settle them down and we'll get an early goal to ease the nerves.

Just finished first half (was 10mins behind) and I think this is a very good game to watch (for a change). Townsend as been very good again too.
