Keisuke Honda will be available in january, his contract with CSKA Moscow runs out. It would be a coup!

Russia aren't in the EU, so don't observe the Bosman rule.

Honda has confirmed he will be leaving CSKA in January so will be available, but he's being linked to bloody Spurs.

We play the worst football in the league so no wonder he wants to leave.

He is a sub for his country which has one of the best attacks in international football. When he comes on for his 20 minutes he really works hard for the team, no reason he can not do the same here.

Matty thought that tracking back just meant returning to the centre circle after scoring a wonder goal :)

He's also said in interviews that he'd be fitter and have a healthier lifestyle these days because he'd HAVE to.

As an 'outsider' I have been surprised at Ramirez' lack of action, but at the moment everything seems to be going well. He would probably add more creativity though, which would help the team score more from open play.

I don't think we are actually going to take that much notice of the FFP as Chelsea and Mancity don't seem to be taking any notice!

I really don't get this rumour at all. We know from previous experience the agent does not necessarily reflect Gastons views. He's only 22 and clearly a big star for the future. Forget about the price tag. Question is. Who would you rather have in the squad saturday. Gaston? or one of Guly, Barnard, Cork or Lee?

Close call between Gaston and Cork for me but ideally would like to see them both on the pitch. I would also like to see an extended run with Osvaldo and Ramirez in theside as I think they will click. I just don't see the point in sellnig your best players - especially a 22 year old after less than one season, hampered by injury and slow adjustment to the pace of the league.

Precisely. If we think he was amazing back then, just imagine how good he'd be with today's fitness training.

Yes, but then he had more in his little toe than Gaston has. And I'm a Gaston supporter/fan too.....

I would agree with you except you've begged the question of whether he really is amongst the best players in the squad.

It's clear (given the lack of starts) that the wealth of information about the lad that the management team must have suggests he's not one of our best players.

I was deeply unimpressed when he just strolled off the pitch for the last few minutes of the Bristol game. As I've said, it's all impressions, but he stikes me as unmotivated. "Best" includes motivation and dedication as well as just pure talent.
