I've lifted this comment from their board, it's on the missing a mod thread and it's from Swamp. I'm only pitting it on here because it's comedy gold, I've even given Swamp rep because it's so funny. If you lot don believe me have a look yourselves " i'm happy with welshman but our choice was JH. the least he deserves is an explanation as to why he isnt allowed to be in the running........ "
Tan has told them it's his party and if malky don't like it he can fu ck off . That is pretty much the situation. Malky now waits for the right job to turn up or wait to get sacked when he can say he couldn't do his job properly so maintain s his reputation rregardless
When a decent job come free, then any chairman worth his salt will go for Malky, and he may well say fcuk this I'm off.
I called him but his phone is off and has been all day. Perhaps Swim has got a point. Being serious though, Dill told me yesterday that it's three times now he's had what he considers to be an injustice against him. I remember one other because I got banned along with him, it might have been only for about 20 minutes but to be fair he's right and it was unjustified. Luckily Valley was online and got it overturned. I don't know what's going in in his head right now but I do know he hasn't logged on or even looked in. I think the silly bugger doesn't realise that he's got quite a few good friends on here
Exactly. All the talk about concern for the fans etc is just to keep his exit smooth and leave tan a big **** sandwich .malky can leave with his reputation intact no matter how results now pan out. It's a classic win win situation for the Management . Tan rules the roost there
Among the odd voice criticising Tan it seems most over there still love him. "We don't know what's gone on" etc. Even "...he doesn't mean any harm" That's one of my favourites. None of them can explain how or why a 23 year old who last season was painting the stadium lands the scout's job. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/233143-How-much-we-will-take
Quoting not your strong point, KJ? It was "I don't think he means any harm." Just someone's opinion. No idea what your problem is with the first quote though, because it's perfectly accurate. I wish I was as knowledgeable as you in the affairs at CCFC.
"I don't think he means any harm." vs "he doesn't mean any harm" Jeez. You say potato, I say... Reading not your strong point, DP? Where did I say it wasn't someone's opinion? In fact I directly referred to the fact it was your fans' opinions in my post. You're right. Nobody knows whats gone on because despite the board meeting nobody has felt that the fans deserve to know. Nice. What it looks like is that Tan wants to force Malky out. Maybe true, maybe not. But that's what it looks like - even to some of your own. If he refuses to resign he'll be sacked after a few losses, mark my words. But even if that's wrong, and we stick to what we do know, a 23 year old who was painting the stadium last year, who has no football experience is your new Head of Scouting. Now try and defend that if you can. Oh, and please don't come out with "it's only a temporary appointment". That's another doozy from your board.
Seems kj has the red birds tied up in knots yet again. .. It's well known in journo circle s that tan wanted malky to resign and he refused to go uless he gets a million quid which is the remainder of his contract .
Certainly not tied up in knots, but when you say it's your favourite quote but you don't know what it is you look like a fool. And someone saying "I think he means no harm" and "he means no harm" are 2 different things. "I think England will win a world cup in my lifetime" and "England will win a world cup in my lifetime" are different, yes? One is a thought and one is a matter of fact. Ain't rocket surgery. Yes it looks **** that we have a 23 year old in that position, and it all looks bad in terms of his and Malky's position. I'm not happy about it and I don't think you'll find one fan that is, although you say "Among the odd voice criticising Tan it seems most over there still love him". Glad to know we have someone who's in a journo's circle and that journalists "know" something for once. Makes you wonder why they make **** up all the time, eh?
"The problem for Cardiff fans' is that their ship has sailed now. The depth of dependency on Tan means that he is untouchable". "If the fans' are rude I may find a new buyer and leave". "The deterioration of his (Tans) relationship with Mackay stems as much as anything from the manager enjoying a popularity which, from Tan's perspective,is enviable". Taken from Independent article referred to by LydstepSA1,on the recent "Huw Jenkins" thread.
An extract of which was recently quoted on the Cardiff board by one of their own. Vetch. DP: Spot on. It isn't rocket science. So I'm having a little trouble in understanding why you're having some difficulty with this rather straightforward comment, unless you're just trying to be clever. Try harder. My comment that one of your fans stated (sic) "he doesn't mean any harm" was set in the context of saying immediately prior that these were comments from your fans on your board who were voicing their opinions about the Tan situation. You can't really take it out of context. That said, I do take your point. It means that some may also think Tan does mean harm.
What a state they are in. I am reminded of the very first time I came across the braggart Blue Prophet. He had created a thread on our old BBC606 Forum, reproducing a newspaper article regarding the very real prospect of Cardiff being bankrolled by a foreigner, name unknown at the time. To say that he and many of his ilk were gloating at the prospect, would be an understatement. Not much gloating going on now is there?
**** has started to hit (atm) a slow moving fan , and realisation is beginning to kick in for those who aren't blind , good luck .
