Someone go tell United, Spurs and Liverpool that they are not contenders for the title, because if we aren't, they sure aren't...
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24458599 The ultimate classless fans... Firstly im suprised this didnt kick off - i cant imagine many managers taking that as well as he did. The fans deserved to have a few punches thrown at them in my opinion! And secondly the room full of people should all be ashamed of themselves. All standing by and watching, trying to make sure they get good footage rather than bothering to step in and do anything..
"Steven Gerrard says he did not contact Harry Redknapp to back him for the England manager's job. QPR boss Redknapp wrote in his autobiography, serialised in the Daily Mail, that a number of senior players, including England captain Gerrard, sent text messages of support. But the 33-year-old Gerrard said: "I didn't text Harry Redknapp's personal phone. I have never had his number." The England job eventually went to Roy Hodgson, who was appointed in May 2012." ****ing 'Arry. How I wish he'd get back in the Premier League.
Moyes the Bartender made a failed last ditch attempt to try and sign Ozil http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...s/manchester-united-mount-last-minute-6172094 How many players turned Utd down this summer ? They really are becoming a second rate option for players these days
It is rather surprising how many players seem to turn down Man U. They are suppose to be the biggest and best club in England, with money and prestige, yet struggle to get the best. Even with a great manager like Fergie, they've struggled to get any big names in for the past few years.
Not much persuading when we were constantly fighting for 4th and hadn't won anything for over 8 years. Had we been competitive in the league, as we are now, then I doubt very much he would have gone. He was given a much better opportunity to succeed and he took it.
Apart from RVP how many WC players do you think have signed for Manure over the last 5 years? It's an interesting question.
None. That's quite suprising considering they've won so much and made so much money. On paper they only have 2, maybe 3 world class players if you include Rooney. Evra was World class but he's past his best. RVP Vidic Rooney?
A world class manager can make a team of less-than-excellent players, look world class. It's the sign of a truly great manager.
Big round of fixtures this weekend and a chance for us to put some space between us and the others at the top. Newcastle have been ****, but surely they are due a result soon ? Hopefully it will come against Liverpool on Saturday. Can't see Chelsea losing at home to Cardiff. Southampton are at OT and like West Brom they are going well, could be another upset on the cards ? Soton are my outside tip for a Europey place this season. Spuds have a tricky visit to Villa who have Benteke back. The spuds had a whole can of Whoop Ass handed to them by West Ham last time and I'm hoping that Villa will do the same
