Will he be offloaded in Jan if another striker comes in? He seems to be improving. I hope he gets a few sub appearances and scores a couple of goals.
Time for some payback. Get him playing in the cups and see what he does. Considering he was decent before and scored some crucial goals and we've now got a more potent midfield, I can see him get a fair few goals. Also it'll be good to give Giroud some rest to maintain his freshness throughout the season.
I'd take the gamble and play him against Norwich especially if Cazorla is back in the team. You would think we will create plenty of chances against Norwich
Why not. He was first choice before and he did score some useful goals for us a while back. If he regains his focus then he could do a job for us.
I still think there's a twist in this tale about Bendtner. I've got a feeling he's going to pop up with a few goals this season and make us think twice about offloading him .....
I have no doubt that Wenger is looking to replace Bendtner but I think Bendtner should take this chance to prove what he is capable of.
Bendy is a lucky lucky man. To get another shot at proving himself at Arsenal is very fortunate, especially as when we are on the up. Add to the fact that our midfield is the most potent in the league, this will give him a shed load of oppurtunties to succeed on the pitch. He should get goals. Heck, we could stick a scarecrow up front and he could score a few with Ozil, Cazorla, Wilshere, Ramsey, Arteta and Rosicky lining them up.
Why in the heck would you take that gamble? Take off Giroud our top goal striker, for Bendtner? As you say Cazorla is back and can create plenty of chances, so ummmm that works out even better for Giroud, the main striker, to get more goals.
