I'm off to Portugal next year.

Her indoors has sorted it so I'm ****ed if I know where we're staying.

All I know is it's a villa somewhere near Albufeira.

The only reason I said I'd go was because I thought it was void of riff raff, might have to a re think if Rheinhold and his clan are holidaying there.

17th-24th August. We might cross mid air. I'll give you a wave, or alternatively flick you the V's.

I've went to a mates house in Loulé this summer, most enjoyable.

If you want to avoid the riff raff Carmine, you need to be going to Quinta do Lago, or Vale Do Lobo(or Hull Do Lobo, as it's affectionately known).

I took the family away end of sept for a 5 day break to Praia da Rocha had a fantastic time a large glass of Sagres Lager between 1&3 euros but mainly 2 euros. 3 course meal 7/8 euros each on the strip was cheaper away from the beach. We are looking to go back in march but not to the same hotel as it was a good walk to the beach and bars . Most bars offered free wifi so kept up to date with city and even got to watch us against the toon in a bar called on the rocks.

I've been to Quinta de Largo, it's very nice area and has some decent gaffs. Same with Vale do Labo.

Last time i went to Albufeira, just down the road from Faro. The night life was pretty good. Sagres & Super Bok was very refreshing from the pish we serve in pubs over here.

The Sangria was another matter. More like a **** mix than Sangria.

To be fair, Continente is a much better supermarket, the fruit and veg is great and the beer/wine's really cheap.

Is Albufeira ok for families? I dont like really quiet places, one bar one restaurant, but dont want Magalluf.
