You won't struggle for 40 points out of what you have left if your boys graft like they did against us.

If I was going to highlight one player, I'd say you could do with keeping Cattermole fit which might be a big ask, but he might be integral to your success this season.

Did you know that Catts has now played 3 and a half games without picking up a knock or a booking? Think we can all appreciate what a huge achievement that is for the lad. ;)

Me too, always have. I understand people's frustration with him but he's a warrior who needed to evolve and I'm very impressed with the new Catts. I'd give him the captaincy back in a heartbeat.

did PDC have an issue with him?

I thought Cattermole was injured most of PDCs stay, and you cant have him as captain if he isnt playing.

I think we will struggle up till January (8 points) then we will recall Danny Graham and take on another 5 former Mag supporting players wearing SMB teeshirts then we will climb up the table to 50 points.

Two players, Fletch & Catts ...... both injured and unavailable for PDC at the end of the season.

New season, both fit but one is 'available for transfer'.

I think there can only be one reason tbh.

What beef? I don't think there was any. He was on the bench first chance on his return to fitness. He was only ever available to Paolo for one game and he was utilised. Paolo said he was available for sale but I think that was an Ellis call(who was trying to cut wages) and can understand why (wages+little playing time=Money down the drain). The whole time the media were claiming he was 'frozen out' he was 100% injured. Convenient if you ask me.

There was never beef with Paolo as far as I'm concerned. Paolo couldn't get a proper look at him until he started full training. Nothing has ever been proven and I'm not going to trust an outlet who are proven to make up any old ****e to sell papers.

In Cattermole, Fletcher, Giacherinni, Gardner, Altidore, Ki, Roberge, Diakite, Celustka, Colback and even Johnson (whio has been far better generally this campaign imo) we have the playing staff to both play and fight our way out of trouble.

Our huge problem is what we do when Fletcher isnt fit and we cant score goals? Catts has made a massive difference to the steel in our midfield but for all that, we still cant score many goals. Giacherinni and Fletcher are absolutley key to that survival attempt until January, when I fully expect some fresh striking options to be brought in.

I think we'll struggle to get going, but then the points will roll in after the Xmas holidays. We won't get too many, but enough to survive and get fit for purpose for 2014-15.

Good start at least innit pal! What kind of injury is he prone to is it always his knees or ankles or just a mixed bag? Might have had to adapt his game like Ledley King to avoid strains and what nots, that might have been what Paolo couldn't deal with, maybe he didn't think he could reach the fitness of the rest therefore he's redundant, not necessarily a falling out or beef between the two like you say Bri, maybe he just didn't fit into his rigid framework and philosophy.
