    For those of us brought up watching Brazil in the 1960's and 1970's. Ajax were no mugs at the time either.

    Would argue that the 1970 Brazil team is the best there has ever been. Might be a different thread but fell in love with Brazilian football in the 1960's and have always supported them as well as England in the World Cup Finals. Pele still for me the best player there has ever been. Yes, there have been some very close contenders such as Cryuff, Beckenbaur (sp), Gullit and recently Messi but none imo better.

    Never liked Maradona. Great player but a really scum character. Bit like Suarez at the moment.

    Saw the Stones live at St James' many years back . At the time when Jagger was a great singer and was actually still alive.!!!!!

    Watching the Stones now is a bit sad really. I couldn't help but watch last night. If it was anyone else they'd be getting slaughtered for it. Hell though, if I was still enjoying it and getting paid a fortune I'd probably still be doing it aswell.
