Just waiting for the onslaught when he has his 1 (good) game this season...assuming he even gets a game. His greatest lovers has been proved totally wrong and even the most loyal havent got the balls to man up and admit it!! hope he never comes back to ruin our good thing.... cue criticism.............oh ...wait...there is none...wonder why...? PS...Told you so.....!!
NUTS... You should be standing by Ale as he's "one of ours FFS". Oh wait, you can express a negative opinion on one of our players but others can't? (Unfortunately, for what it's worth I happen to agree with you regarding this topic - negative or not!)
Queenslander, my apologies. That was an illiterate response on my part, made when I was incapable of better.
On the subject of Faurlin, I think he's never fully recovered from that injury, whether psychologically or other, he just hasn't been the player he was previously and the fact he was shipped out to Palermo last year and barely played for them in a relegation season speaks volumes. I think he'll be no more than a squad player who'll fill in the odd start here and there before he's moved on if and when we go up...
I think you're right about him taking a long time to recover from the injury, but the Faurlin I watched against Boro was very nearly back to his best imo. If he can now get a run in the team and remain consistent I would like to see him stay.
I hope you're right Col, he was one of our most consistent players before that injury but I just feel his problem is more in his head than anywhere else and he may not get too many opportunities with our current strength in midfield. I just wonder whether he'd be better played in a more attacking role...
Prior to his injury I'd say that Ale was the most naturally gifted player we had at the club, and that included Adel. If if can consistently hit those heights then he is more than worth a new contract.
Im also a big fan mate but while I wouldnt say he was the most gifted player ( AT included); I'd say he had the best footballling brain at the club. Only one i thought could make the step up, but that injury ( i was at that game too) has plagued him both mentally & physically. Hope he can get back and reach his potential.
Strange that he's the only QPR player from May 2011 still playing in the Premiership. Who was right and who was wrong????????
Totally right of course. I'd actually be intrested to find out where they all are. None in the prem i dont think. may give me something to do for a bit
