Shako, agree mate, this is club football Leeds United.
I wellcome all fans, and am proud that we have large followings from all over the world, especially Ireland and Norway.
For those that want an english irish battle, take it elsewhere.

I'm sound as a pound Ches. But I don't like this, support your own mentality argument.
Why not start on all the supporters outside of Leeds city who support the club(welsh, scots). I'm not arguing with you on this, I was just annoyed that because of another Irishmans opinion on your countries team, that the rest of us were tarred because of his opinions.

Its all banter to me m8,but I do follow my country and if someone has a dig at my country I will have a dig back.Thats not having a go at all Irish or Welsh or Scots it a right of reply its not personal. If Welsh,Scots come on here telling me how **** my country is they will get the same back.Even if its the truth.I will always defend my club and country against all and my dig back is aimed at the person I am replying to,unfortunately I cant stop others taking offence because they come from the same country. For the record I have no problem with Eire,in fact we are very alike he feels the need to defend his country as do I. I'm sorry if I offend you m8 but that is never the intention.

An Irishman, an Englishman and a Scot were sitting in a bar. The view was fantastic, the beer excellent, the food exceptional.

"Y'ken," said Whitejock, "I still prefer the pubs back hame. Why, in Glasgow there's a wee bar called McTavish's. Now, the landlord there goes out of his way for the locals so much that when you buy 4 drinks, he will buy the 5th drink for you."

"Well," said TC, "at my local, The Blue Lion, the barman there will buy you your 3rd drink after you buy the first two."

"Ahhh, that's nuttin," said Shako. "Back home in Dublin there's O'Driscoll's Bar. Now, the moment you set foot in the place they'll buy you a drink, then another, all the drinks you like. Then, when you've had enough drinks, they'll take you upstairs and see that you get laid. All on the house."

"Wow," said TC, "did this actually happen to you?"

"Not me, myself, personally, no," said Shako "but it happened to me sister!"

You didn't offend me Ches, I was training in the RAF reg 1983, so I'm not a sensitive sod. I respect your opinion, my ma is English ffs. But it's does annoy me when I feel my support for Leeds Utd is belittled because of other arguments. <cheers>

Not a problem m8,like Shako I too was behind the goal in Stuttgart,I've been at the semi final pen shoot out loss to Germany at Italia 90,seen England play in 10 different countries your best ever days are my fooking nightmares .No maybe Shako thought there was more to it than just banter, but with me that's not the case and as someone who travels a fair way to home games the loyalty of the Irish whites is never in question.<ok>

One question chesh, do you think the English media, sky daily rags etc have as much to answer for the country's lack of success. From here they seem to go on same stupid blitz every time you qualify. Tournament won before it starts and lambast them when beaten. Two etremes

Wtf are you on about. It's a bit of craic that's all. Eire gives at least as good as he gets.
Sometimes you spud suckers do seem to have a few chips (pun intended) on your shoulders.
