The fact you have not heard of Gone With The Wind, On The Waterfront or Robin Hood is quite distressing.

    Moneyball
    Lord of the Rings
    The Blind Side
    Finding Nemo
    Django Unchained
    Coach Carter
    Amelie
    Good Will Hunting
    Shaun of the Dead
    Gladiator and/or The Truman Show

List would probably change if asked tomorrow

Anyone not yet seen Django then definitely take the time to watch it

Watched it for the umpteenth time last night. Brilliant film. Django, Inglorious Basterds and Pulp Fiction are Tarantino's best imo.

Christoph Waltz in an incredibly underrated actor. (though he has won two Oscars for both Django and Inglorious tbf <laugh>)

    I love things like:

    Zulu
    Italian Job
    Get Carter

To be honest owt with Micheal Caine, or Gary Oldman, Samuel L Jackson, or Denzel Washington in, or infact any Gangster or War film. Love gangster or war films.

Watched Battle of Britain today on C5

Also forgot about Scarface... the Al Pacino one, obviously. Actually, a lot of things with Pacino in are class. The Godfather trilogy, Scarface, Heat...

    Nothing beats Pulp Fiction though.

    Yeah very good film.

I forgot about Al Pacino in my list (mind you that's most gangster films covered).

Anything with De Niro, Brando or Pacino in it is class.

Which is probably why The Godfather trilogy is so brilliant (well, the first two anyways). And Heat.

What is it with De Niro and awesome films? Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Godfather Pt.II, Goodfellas, The Deer Hunter, Mean Streets, Heat...

On that note, Heat is a great film.

    There are exceptions.

You, sir, should get off this thread right now. And don't return until you've watched them.

I don't think Pulp Fiction is better than Django. In fact I'd put Pulp Fiction below Kill Bill vol 1. I just don't get the love in with it. It's all opinions which is great I guess

The first two are. The second one is the best imo. Though the first is a masterpiece.

    You seen Ronin?

De Niro is in it with Jean Reno (Leon fame) and Sean Bean.

    Well worth a watch.
