during half time commentator bumped into higgs and higgs said he was very happy and impressed with our performance. but wasnt very happy with the ref and couldnt say on the radio what higgs said well done mr higgs.
started off 2nd half well. bond skins his man and puts in a cross that falls to clarke who shoots just wide. great chance to level within 1st minute of the 2nd half.
bond now moved to RW and clarkson LW and richards up front with brunt. clarkson played well and now moved him out of the position that he was dominating. strange decision.
over 60% possession for us we have had 7 on target compared to mansfield 2. we have had 7 off target compared to mansfield 5. we have had more corners. we just cant beat the keeper.
we definately deserved this goal. we have been the dominant side and sound like a great performance. we havent given up and just went for it. we have gone for this from kick off as well not just after we concede like we usually do. full credit to thge players and to ward.
