    Jeeeeeeeeeedddy!

    And MK and AFC Wimbledon did play in the FA cup last season I think it was. It didn't seem a particularly pleasant atmosphere and there were calls for Wimbledon fans to boycott the game.

    Can't believe they have sacked Martin Allen. He did a great job in winning the league with them last year. It's not like they could look at Sheffield United and see what they have done to Weir, and say we are in the same position.

    Especially given that they tend to yo-yo between Leagues One and Two anyway...their current position shouldn't really be considered a disappointment. It's change for the sake of change, because they cannot hope to get a better manager in there.

    As an alternative history thing, think of how different our past few years might have been if Scunthorpe had been equally impatient. They opted to stick with a manager who had gotten them promoted to the Championship even after they were relegated the next year, which allowed him the opportunity to get them promoted for a second time -- and survive the season thereafter -- cementing his reputation as a manager on the rise.

    Had Scunny fired Adkins simply because that's what you do when a team gets relegated, it's unlikely that he would have gotten much consideration from Cortese when 2010 rolled around.

    Another manager bites the dust. Kevin Blackwell sacked by Bury! Signing 23 players in the summer didn't work then.
