    Is rape always wrong?

    From the Mesopotamians right up to the present day, armies and invaders have used rape as a way of conquering other civilisations. In doing so, they improved the gene pool and led to an increase in the human population.

    So today's moral dilemma is: Can rape ever be justified?

    Who said it was justified. I merely asked the question. The truth is the human race is only as diverse as it is due to raping and pillaging by groups from the Greeks to the Vikings to the Serbians.

    We shouldn't shy away from discussing subjects just because they make us feel uncomfortable.

    I wouldnt say its sexist id say this is the most pathetic thread ive ever seen, rape isn't a laughing matter. What would you do if somebody raped your mum,sister,daughter?

    Most of the things we laugh at are not really laughing matters. Because a subject line is horrendous does not mean that it should be on a taboo list of things you can't joke about it.

    People could casually watch Channel 4 and come across a Franky Boyle stand up routine which has much worse content, or stumble across one of the many episodes of South Park which have jokes about rape. That's just two examples off the top of my head.
