http://www.whoscored.com/Blog/nmya1...erformances-of-Englishmen-Up-From-Last-Season Where's Huddlestone though?
The fact that there's a Palace player in there says it all about how bad the National team has become, and how the set up in this country needs an overhaul from top to bottom.
Delph has been ****ing brilliant this season, he was by far the best attacking player on the pitch last week. And it's based on stats, job done.
Surely it depends on how you interpret the stats. Prior to the Villa game Huddlestone created 9 chances against Delph's 2, completed more open play passes and has a higher tackle success rate. Stats are interpreted differently. So your opinion cannot therefore be a universal FACT!
With all due respect to the stats: Stockdale is the best rated Goalie apparently. I've watched him two or three times online this season and he still looks dodgy.
I said FACT to he ran the midfield against us. Which he did - FACT. I didnt use stats for that part at all.
Opinions are not facts. Not that I know of anyway. http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/...014/epl.match-report.html/hull-vs-aston-villa
There seems to be a lot of people around here who share the same opinion. Delph was the best player on the pitch.
It's still only an opinion not a fact. In fact, according to those stats, in the opinion of those fans who voted, Livermore was the best player on the pitch. Now if we're talking about looking and behaving like Ashley Young, he won that one hands down. To be fair though, in my opinion he probably was the biggest thorn in our side!
I know, I'm not saying it is a fact, only that is is a commonly shared opinion. Figgy only got a 3.5!
FACT stats dont mean anything apparently 47% of our American brethren think Aliens and i mean extra terrestrials should check in at immigration along with everyone else. Just thought you might want to know LOL
Completely agree. He is an excellent young player and made some nice runs but "ran the midfield" is a gross exaggeration IMO. The fact that other than a couple of shots by Agbonlahor, one of which resulted from a defensive mix up, they hardly tested McGregor indicates he was unable to open us up and their vaunted speedy offence was unable to score a single goal.
