I love beer me, don't know if I've mentioned this before.

    Top marks to them.

    Two different pints:-

    1. Old Speckled Hen, London style & a ****ing disgrace. Refused to pay & asked for a bottle instead

    2. IPA, made by my own fair hands in my brewery like garage. Wonderful.

It's an art. They should be proud.

I went on the World Beer Award website to verify this, and they haven't won 'Best Beer', they've won one of the many categories. Still a fantastic achievement, of course, considering they've not been brewing it long.

I've always been of the opinion - if I like the taste of the first one, I go for it. If I can avoid completely or overcome the hangover after a few more before opening time next day, it's the World's best. ( but I avoid American beer like the plague- it's like a yard and a half of weasel piss....)

I'll sit in the corner with me Devon Red. Or Welsh Scrumpy.

I'd tried guiness once, i don't like burnt toast.

So what about me Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Is that for ladies only, 'cos I've got a bloody cellar full.

    You're on the wrong thread

You need to be on the Fruity drinks thread

    http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...Herbal-teas-are-they-gay?highlight=fruit teas

Although I did brew some raspberry & lime cider a couple of years ago. It got rave reviews from my brother in law & his partner.

Is that made from a fruit? I think you've answered your own question.

You're one step away from Buckfast there my friend.

Cheers Stan. On a detachment to the wilds of Scotland many years ago, I snorted some of that stuff. My sinuses have never been the same since. Helluva night that was.
